Manchester United have been looking for a replacement for veteran goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, who will retire after the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona. Now Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed a deal with Atletico Madrid's goalkeeper David De Gea. Atletico Madrid are said to want around €20million for their goalkeeper.
"He's an outstanding replacement for Edwin van der Sar." Ferguson said.
AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo whom have played for the Italian champions since 2001 have signed a three-year deal with rivals Juventus.
